Informational interviews

Our number one recommendation for those looking to grow their career is to schedule informational interviews. Find people who are already doing what you want to do or working in the company you want to work. Ask these professionals about what it's like to work in their company, how they got the job and what the company looks for in candidates. This will significantly increase your chances of career growth and increase future opportunities.

To prepare, review the OSU Career Services guide or an article from The Muse on how to request an informational interview.
