Career consultations

The OSU Alumni Association offers individual career consultations for all Oregon State alumni. These appointments can be held in person in Corvallis and Portland or over the phone. A one-on-one appointment will help you create strategic next steps towards your career goals.

One hour consultations can include: 

  • In-depth resume review
  • Cover letter review
  • Interview preparation
  • Job search strategies
  • Networking approaches
  • Career exploration
  • Continuing  education / Graduate school exploration

Corvallis consultation appointments can be done over the phone or in person.

Portland in person appointments are now available on a limited basis.

To arrange your consultation, complete our online form. Due to the preparation required for our consultations, we cannot accept walk-in appointments. All career consultations must be booked in advance using the form.

Confidential appointments can be held in Corvallis, Portland or over the phone. Fees range from $20-35, depending on graduation year and membership status.

Consultations are conducted by Yuliya Dennis, the alumni association's director of career services.  Yuliya Dennis is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and has training to assist people no matter where they are in their career journey.  Feel free to email with questions.
