Countdown to Bowl


The Beavers are heading to El Paso for the 75th annual Sun Bowl this year. The Sun Bowl is one of the most historic bowl games in the nation and the Sun Bowl committee knows how to put on a great party!
The OSU Alumni Association is already planning or participating in several great events for El Paso, including:




Tuesday, December 30
Sun Bowl Community Service Project
8:00 p.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Location: TBA 		Join President Ray for OSU's Annual Bowl Game Community Service Project. Also, donate clothing to the El Paso Center for Children at the OSUAA tailgater before the game.
Tuesday, December 30
Sun Bowl Fan Feista
Noon - 8:00 p.m.
Location: William F. Judson Convention Center 		Free to the public, food and drinks available, featuring a fireworks display, university pep rallies, battle of the bands and the live broadcast of the Beaver Sports Talk radio show.
Wednesday, December 31
OSU Pre-game Tailgater
9:30-11:30 a.m.
Location: Glory Field, UTEP Campus
 Join Beaver Nation before the game to prepare to cheer the team on to Victory. Pre-registration required for the deluxe breakfast and lunch buffet.

OSU Beavers vs. Pitt Panthers
Kickoff - Noon
Location: Sun Bowl Stadium
The Beavers take on Pitt in a rematch of the 2002 Insight Bowl. As if the great matchup between the 24th ranked Beavs and the 18th ranked Panthers wasn't enough, the Village People will perform at halftime.
Beaver travelers volunteered their time at a shelter for children and families before the 2006 Sun Bowl.


The day of the game dawned bright, but cold, for the tailgater.


The live radio show after the Fan Fiesta was packed with Beaver fans.


The 2006 Sun Bowl was one of the most exciting bowl games in OSU history - the Beavers won on a two-point conversion with no time left.
