Homecoming 2014 takes on special meaning as Oregon State marks the success of its $1 billion campaign.
The Alumni Association, OSU Foundation, colleges and departments are hosting a variety of events to celebrate Oregon State during our 98th homecoming. Keep reading for highlighted events or visit our full calendar for the latest listing of events around campus.

Spirit Week | Student-focused activities on the MU Quad between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily.

Talent Competition Oct. 28-30Thursday, October 30
Who can participate? Current OSU students as individuals or a group
What type of talent are you looking for? Dance routines, slam poetry, drum solo, crazy human trick... We only ask that you keep it classy.
How does it work? Reserve your space now.
Preliminary competitions are held on the Quad; one finalist will be selected each day. Finals will be held at the Block Party with Doc Titus at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30.
What times are available? Preregister for time slots between 11:15 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. each day. Walk-up entries are welcome to compete from 12:25-1 p.m., or earlier if time allows.

Homecoming Lights Parade
You never know what you’ll see in the glow of the Homecoming Lights Parade. Community and student groups are invited to join the festivities by creating an entry for the parade. Check out the route map and application for more information.

Block Party & Pep Rally
7-9 p.m., 26th Street in front of CH2M Hill Alumni Center and Parker Plaza
The bonfire has been extinguished but that doesn’t mean the sizzle has gone out of Homecoming. DJ and emcee, Doc Titus promises to fire up the crowd with a high-voltage multimedia show. Special guests and messages from OSU will help to fan the flames at this free event.
