About OSUAA affinity agreements
The Oregon State University Alumni Association, a nonprofit organization, sometimes enters into affinity agreements with for-profit companies that seek to provide products or services to OSU alumni.
Under these agreements, the association assists companies in marketing products or services to OSU alumni. In return, the association may receive licensing fees, royalties and/or in-kind contributions that help support programs and activities of the association. These arrangements – including but not limited to credit cards, insurance, and travel programs – are an important dimension of many alumni association programs nationally.
OSUAA follows national best practices when selecting its affinity partners. We believe them to be reputable. However, individual circumstances vary so widely that we cannot guarantee that you will find your best deal with one of our partners. We urge you to research your own options and be an informed consumer.
